There is not 1 HAARP. There are more HAARP-alike Ionospheric Heating Facilities. HAARP is located in Gakona, Alaska, USA, built in 1993; JRO is located in Peru, built in 1962; EISCAT in Tromsø, Norway, was built in 1975; and SURA in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia- was built in 1963 [This Russian article however mentions 1981.] There are other types Ionospheric Heating Facilities as well. In this post only the HAARP system is explained.
On the moment I am editing the English text in the video about HAARP spoken by Dr. Begich, author of the book: “Angels Don’t Play This HAARP”, in YouTube Studio: word by word, second by second. It is of the highest importance that we, inhabitants of the world, know. Searching For The Truth About HAARP
HAARP is a military weapon, an electromagnetic weapon. This is not a conspiracy theory. HAARP is categorized as a military electromagnetic weapon in a.o. Microwave News[more than 40 years widely recognized as a fair and objective source of information on the controversial subject electromagnetic radiation], and by Dr. Begich, a name I found in Microwave News, when searching for articles about HAARP. Barrie Trower, a with Snowdon comparable whistleblower, mentions HAARP in his lecture The Truth About 5G and Wi-Fi. HAARP is also a chapter in Arthur Firstenberg’s book: The Invisible Rainbow.
The term “conspiracy theory” is always somewhere present when one searches via Google for information about HAARP. The term is obviously very efficient, because industries and governments use it as a proven effective weapon to silence information that can harm the progress in what they are developing, using, experimenting, or rolling out. Nobody wants to be named a conspiracy theorist. The term is an insult, and used to insult, to silence that what is or might be a threat for the industry’s future.
Note 25-4-2024: What was worldwide categorized in articles as conspiracy theories has been scientifically debunked: HAARP can indeed be used to cause earthquakes, extreme weather, drought, floods, wildfires, hit targets in seas and oceans, is capable of breaking radio communication lines and equipment installed on spaceships and rockets, provoke serious accidents in electricity networks and in oil and gas pipelines [what about the Nordstream pipeline?] and have a negative impact on the mental health of people populating entire regions: go to §3, §4, §10 and §13. HAARP, Alaska USA, and similar stations like JRO Peru, EISCAT Norway and SURA Russia, are not the only electromagnetic weapons. There are dozens, highly advanced electromagnetic weapons. When someone is searching for the facts about in this case HAARP, searching for answers on questions like: how is it possible that a university in Alaska can finance a project like HAARP, that cannot be financed by not any university, without the help of a government, or industry, why are questions like that a threat for the industry?
Or the questions: how is it for god’s sake possible that scientists are allowed to experiment in and with the ionosphere, the most vulnerable and essential part of the global electric circuit, the weather, the climate? HAARP heats up something in the ionosphere. What does HAARP heat? Why? How?
There is not 1 HAARP. There are 4 HAARP facilities, and several other ionospheric heaters on the planet. What are the other ionospheric heaters? How do they function? For which industry? Government? In §11 David Hambling writes about “a Defense System Masquerading as Science”. In the meantime I know that HAARP is a military weapon. What in the ionosphere can be interesting or important for the military? Is it because of that hidden something that 5G satellites are orbited in the ionosphere? Is 5G also a military weapon and/or microwave weapon after all?
Since 2020 also 5G satellites are orbited directly into the ionosphere, affect there the natural frequencies with man-made EMFs, RFs, by beaming phased arrays from there, through the ionosphere, down to earth. In the meantime 1,000,000 5G satellites are planned, of which until now tens of thousands are already orbited directly IN the ionosphere, and affect, of course, also the climate, the weather, to name just a few to the ionosphere related subjects. Also 5G is an experiment, on earth and in space. Nobody talks about it anymore, not any newspapers writes about it anymore, nobody seems to distrust what Musk is doing in the ionosphere for the Multinationals: there is really an absolutely deafening silence.
The ionosphere is becoming a giant industry park, where 5G satellites, HAARP and other ionospheric heaters interfere with the natural environment. Limitations do not exist. United Nations’ Guterres is not interested: he never reacted on the Stop 5G Appeal. All Stop 5G appeals are silenced. How? The Covid virus coincidentally escaped from a lab in Wuhan on exact the same moment that 5G was commercialized in Wuhan, November 2019. More: post. The UN is a proven failing organisation. US can even veto the stop on the genocide in Gaza: US will not mind to veto the stop on 5G, even when 5G, or HAARP, or all together, will create genocides.
The mainstream media, newspapers, TV, social media platforms: all are the marionettes in the war against Truth. Truth is censored. Lies are not. In the world of today science, proven facts, evidence, can even be categorized as disinformation and therefore censored, removed from the social media[1]. Multinationals hide what they do. Searching for answers on what they hide, and why, is sane. The crisis we are in today proves that the unethical industrial experimental science has failed. When the industry does not offer factchecked documented answers on questions, the industries create suspicion, and there can be indeed humans who create insane answers, even conspiracy theories. But that does not mean that we are all conspiracy theorists, or that industries are of course okay, trustworthy. Of course it is possible that information about HAARP is classified. Top Secret. Is it? A lot of documents related with the military ARE classified.

HAARP, scientific facility for studying the ionosphere, located near Gakona, Alaska. The main instrument is the Ionospheric Research Instrument (IRI), an array of 180 radio antennas spread over an area of 0.13 square kilometer (33 acres).
The ionosphere is the outermost layer of Earth’s atmosphere. It begins at about 50 kilometers (30 miles) above Earth’s surface and contains atoms and molecules that are ionized (that is, they lose an electron and become positively charged) by the Sun’s ultraviolet light. The ionosphere is of particular importance for radio because low radio frequencies are reflected off the ionosphere, allowing for long-distance communications. At higher frequencies, radio communications with satellites pass through the ionosphere. The ionosphere is also where the auroras occur when solar wind particles collide with oxygen and nitrogen atoms.
The IRI transmits at frequencies between 2.7 and 10 MHz with a power of 3.6 megawatts. It transmits radio waves upward into the ionosphere, where they cause electrons to move in waves. HAARP is an ionospheric heater, so called because the excitation of electrons increases their temperature, and it is the most powerful ionospheric heater in the world. By altering the density of electrons in a specific region, scientists using HAARP can study how the ionosphere reacts to changing conditions.

HAARP Ignored No More…An article on the U.S. military’s High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) in the Fall 1994 Earth Island Journal has won an award from “Project Censored” as one of the top ten stories ignored by the mainstream news media in 1994. The Pentagon is spending $26 million on a prototype for a proposed 1.7 billion watt transmitter in Alaska that HAARP documents say would act as an “ionospheric heater” for various military uses: creating a “virtual antenna in the ionosphere”; disrupting communications systems; and disabling missiles and satellites. The article, by Anchorage activist Clare Zickuhr and Earth Island Journal editor Gar Smith, was reprinted in Censored: The News That Didn’t Make the News and Why, the 1995 yearbook of the media watchdog group. In a feature article about HAARP in the May/June 1994 issue of Microwave News, Zickuhr was quoted as saying that the military wants to “kick the atmosphere real hard and watch what happens.” The Washington Post recently picked up the story, running a piece about HAARP on April 17. Project Censored was founded by Carl Jensen in 1976.

Based on the best selling book, “Angels Don’t Play This HAARP”, narrator Dr. Nick Begich presents a compelling discussion of one of the important military advances of the United States Government.
The technology is designed to manipulate the environment in a number of ways that can jam all global communications, disrupt weather systems, interfere with migration patterns, disrupt human mental processes, negatively affect your health and disrupt the upper atmosphere.
The U.S. military calls this new zapper the High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program or HAARP. The rest of the story is revealed in the patents, technical papers and other documents that continue to emerge regarding this project. Begich has presented on the subject as an expert witness for the European Parliament, Committee on Foreign Affairs, Security and Defense Policy Subcommittee on Security and Disarmament, GLOBE and others.
In a useful and important book, Manning and Begich have attacked many problems and told many stories. Best of all they have told how they and a gallant lot of non-Government people in Alaska have fought battles to expose the HAARP project, which is the latest modernization of the Pentagon’s electromagnetic warfare preparations, under test in the Alaskans’ own backyard.
HAARP has been a mysterious project, whose true nature has been hidden, they say, by lies and disinformation. It has posed as University ionospheric research, which it only partly is, so as to conceal its military character. The great service that Manning and Begich have done is to uncover just enough technical and organizational information to leave no doubt about the centrality of HAARP to the Pentagon’s aims of perfecting electromagnetic warfare.
HAARP stands for High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program. It follows upon a long line of ionospheric research, some of it military, in which bursts of radiofrequency radiation have been beamed up into the ionosphere in order to study the effects so produced. Installations that send high intensity electromagnetic waves into the ionosphere have been called ionospheric heaters. Some have been in Greenland, the Pacific, Japan, Norway, and Russia.
What is new about HAARP and should give grounds for concern is the much greater power level contemplated and the hugely greater power flux aimed at in the projected transmission. Scientists often study a system by perturbing it, observing the processes that take place during the recovery to the original state of the system. HAARP, however, promises to perturb the system so drastically that it may never recover to its original state, even assuming that it is stable enough that it returns to its former state under less drastic bombardment. Furthermore, the very scientists planning the research do not know what the results may be. If Manning and Begich are to be believed, the nuclear explosions carried out by the Soviet Union and the United States outside the Earth’s atmosphere, prior to the 1963 Limited Test Ban Treaty forbidding such detonations, did in fact damage the ionosphere in the long term. For example, there is now radioactivity in outer space that wasn’t there prior to the nuclear explosions, so that in this one sense at least, the ionosphere certainly isn’t the same as it was. HAARP threatens to blast the ionosphere again, but possibly in a new and very frightening way.

I know one country from my travels where there is a very heavy, I think there are about two million, Muslim populations, the density of Muslims and the concentration of towers is within there. There are other areas of the planet where the extremely wealthy—and I’m not trying to start a civil war here—but they are exempt microwaves in their areas. There are areas of the planet where particular densities of poor—and I’ve been to them and I’ve fought a case for them and we won, and I have the King backing me—where the transmitters were always put in the poorest densest areas. Ulrich Warnke, doctor of natural sciences, writes[2] that HAARP—the High-frequency Active Auroral Research Project— is responsible for the world wide outbreak of Colony Collapse Disorder that began in the winter of 2006-2007.
An “ionospheric heater” owned until recently by the United States Air Force and operated jointly with the Navy and the University of Alaska, HAARP is only the most powerful radio transmitter on earth. Capable of emitting a peak effective radiated power of four billion watts, its purpose is to set the biosphere to ringing. HAARP, whose 180 antenna towers sit on the northwest tip of Alaska’s Wrangell-St. Elias National Park, has turned the ionosphere itself—the life-giving layer of sky to which every creature is tuned (see chapter 9)—into a gigantic radio transmitter useful for military communications, including communication with submarines.
By aiming a narrow beam of pulsating energy upwards, there near the North Pole where the aurora meets the earth, Project HAARP can force rivers of sky to broadcast radio transmissions at the frequency of the pulsations, and to send those signals to almost everywhere on earth. In 1988, when planning for HAARP was still in its early stages, physicist Richard Williams, a consultant to Princeton University’s David Sarnoff Laboratory, called the project *an irresponsible act of global vandalism.”
*Look at the power levels that will be used!” he wrote in Physics and Society, the newsletter of the American Physical Society. “This is equivalent to the output of ten to 100 large power-generating stations.”
In 1994, when HAARP’s first 18 antennas were about to be put into service, Williams was interviewed by Earth Island Journal. “A ten-billion-watt generator,” he said, “running continuously for one hour, would deliver a quantity of energy equal to that
of a Hiroshima-sized atomic bomb.”
In March 1999, HAARP expanded to 48 antennas and an effective radiated power of almost one billion watts. The rest of its complement of 180 antennas were delivered between 2004 and 2006, enabling the facility to reach its full intended power during the winter of 2006-2007.
Although the Air Force shut HAARP down in 2014 and proposed to dismantle the facility, it instead was acquired by the University of Alaska Fairbanks, which reopened the facility in February 2017 and has made it available to the scientific community for research. The university is operating the facility at a loss, and it announced in 2019 that if it does not get sufficient funding, it will shut down HAARP permanently.
The frequencies of HAARP, says Warnke, superimpose unnatural magnetic fields on the natural resonant frequencies of the sky, whose daily variations have not changed since life appeared on earth. This is disastrous for bees. They “lose an orientation,” he says, “that served them for millions of years as a reliable indicator of the time of day.”

3.9.1 HAARP changes the natural diurnal variation of the magnetic fields
The information on the HAARP project is thanks to Guy Cramer (USA); it was made available to me by Joris Everaert (Belgium).
HAARP (High-frequency Active Auroral Research Project) is the abbreviation for a military project of the US Air Force and Navy. 180 towers have been erected in an uninhabited area near the city of Gakona in Alaska, together constituting an antenna complex. The frequency is around 2.5-10 MHz and the power is extremely high at 3 million Watt (“high power, high frequency phased array radio transmitter”). This is the strongest technical transmitter on earth. Its effectiveness is increased by linking the antenna array with another antenna array in Alaska, via HIPAS (High Power Auroral Stimulation). The transmitters communicate with submarines deep in the ocean and scan the horizon as a type of deep earth radar. But the frequencies are also absorbed by the ionosphere. They heat up certain layers, creating ion turbulences by day, that are modulated onto the earth magnetic field as unnatural magnetic fields.
This masks the regular effects the sun has on the ionosphere. As such, the bees lose an orientation that served them for millions of years as a reliable indicator of the time of day – encoded in the regular variations of the magnetic field changes as the sun rises and the ionosphere temperature rises.
The effects of the HAARP transmitter activity should be further investigated especially in Canada, the USA and Europe. Since the disappearance of the bees was first documented in precisely these countries, a causal relationship can no longer be excluded. The following simultaneous events tend to confirm this:
In 2006, the increase of the transmitting power from 960 000 Watt to four times that power (3 600 000 Watt), was approved for the first time. Exactly in this year, reports originated in all the “scanned” transmission regions of the disrupted homing ability of bees.
Another disruptive effect may play a role. Through the irregular heating of the ionosphere, the air at great heights begins to “glow”, with visible frequencies in the near infrared region (630 nm) and the associated magnetic field can be detected at the earth’s surface (PEDERSEN et al. 2003, RODRIGUEZ et al. 1998).
Since the bees use not only the UV component of sunlight for orientation, but also the longer infrared wavelengths (EDRICH et al. 1979, VAN DER GLAS 1977) the new light in the sky may also be a new disrupting stimulus to them.

[FBIS Transcribed Text] MOSCOW. Aug 8 (Interfax) – The Russian State Duma has expressed concern about the United States’ program to develop a qualitatively new type of weapon.
“Under the High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP), the U.S. is creating new integral geophysical weapons that may influence the near-Earth medium with high-frequency radio waves,” the State Duma said in an appeal circulated on Thursday.
“The significance of this qualitative leap could be compared to the transition from cold steel to fire arms, or from conventional weapons to nuclear weapons. This new type of weapons differs from previous types in that the near-Earth medium becomes at once an object of direct influence and its component.
These conclusions were made by the commission of the State Duma’s international affairs and defense committees, the statement reads. The committees reported that the U.S. is planning to test three facilities of this kind. One of them is located on the military testing ground in Alaska and its full-scale tests are to begin in early 2003. The second one is in Greenland and the third one in Norway.
“When these facilities are launched into space from Norway, Alaska and Greenland, a closed contour will be created with a truly fantastic integral potential for influencing the near-Earth medium,” the State Duma said.
The U.S. plans to carry out large-scale scientific experiments, under the HAARP program, and not controlled by the global community, will create weapons capable of breaking radio communication lines and equipment installed on spaceships and rockets, provoke serious accidents in electricity networks and in oil and gas pipelines and have a negative impact on the mental health of people populating entire regions, the deputies said.
They demanded that an international ban be put on such large-scale geophysical experiments.
The appeal, signed by 90 deputies, has been sent to President Vladimir Putin, to the United Nations and other international organizations, to the parliaments and leaders of the UN member countries, to the scientific public and to mass media outlets.
Among those who signed the appeal are Tatyana Astrakhankina, Nikolai Kharitonov, Yegor Ligachev, Sergei Reshulsky, Vitaly Sevastyanov, Viktor Cherepkov, Valentin Zorkaltsev and Alexei Mitrofanov.

Abstract
For a half century, the military has been developing technologies to turn climate and extreme environmental phenomena into weapons.
This study is a literature review, which was conducted with the following objectives:
- 1/ to expose the known powerful military technologies of climate and environmental modification;
- 2/ to emphasize that many extreme environmental events observed in recent years coincide with the effects that these military technologies are able to generate;
- 3/ to analyze the conclusions of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) on the origins of the increase in natural disasters.
The literature used comes from official sources: peer-reviewed scientific articles (except one); patents; intergovernmental organizations; military documents; policy documents; university documents; national newspapers; news agencies; writings by respected scientists in their fields.
Results of the literature review reveal that HAARP (High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program), the most powerful ionospheric heater in operation, is able to influence climate. High-power electromagnetic pulses in the earth’s crust, produced by a mobile magneto-hydrodynamic generator, is a technique developed since the 1970s to trigger earthquakes. Directed energy weapons, a real technology, can ignite destructive fires at range. For several years, official documents report effects on health and the environment similar in all aspects to those that would be detected if solar geoengineering by stratospheric aerosol injection, a climate-altering technique, was used. Due to numerous biases and a lack of objectivity, the IPCC’s arguments on the causes of the growth in extreme environmental phenomena (heat and cold waves, storms, hurricanes, tornadoes, droughts, floods, wildfires, air pollution, etc.) are flawed. The solar hypothesis isn’t appropriate either, given its low activity for several years.
In conclusion, the use of military climatic and environmental modification technologies appears to be the most relevant explanation to understand the increase in natural disasters over the last 20 years.

Abstract: In June 2018, for the first time, the SURA heating facility in Russia , together with the in-orbit China Seismo-Electromagnetic Satellite (CSES), carried out a series of experiments in emitting high frequency (HF) O-mode radio waves to disturb the ionosphere. This paper reports data from those experiments, collected onboard CSES, including electric field, in-situ plasma parameters, and energetic particle flux.
