Wholistic Psychology

The pyramid is an excellent metaphor to explain differences, levels in development and awareness, without discriminating. All of the pyramid belongs to the Path of Knowledge, and not any detail can be let out. To learn to know the top of the pyramid “psychology” one has to start with the base. The same with climbing a mountain: one starts at the foot. Also the mountain is an excellent metaphor: on the foot of the mountain it is very crowded. Many psychologists and psychiatrists walk there, live there. The higher you climb on the mountain named life, the steeper the mountain becomes, and the lesser the mountain is crowded. Finally psychologists / psychiatrists walk alone. And have to climb difficult parts to go higher.

EL TIEMPO TEME A LAS PIRAMIDES

Dashur (Egipto). Piramide Roja de Snefru (IV Dinastia).

The higher one gets the better the view is on what is happening down the mountain. The views from the mountain to the landscapes around, are on all sides different. When you are more high you can explain to others why they do not agree with what they see. The one is on a complete other spot. Higher, lower, more to the South, East, North, or to the West.

The climbing of the mountain “psychology” is needed to become the real psychologue. One knows exactly when to go higher and how. Or to stay where one is. One needs guides, when going more up, or on unknown paths.

In psychology (in all kind of studies, jobs, tasks, etc.) there is the hierarchy of knowledge, insight, and this is related with the place on the mountain where the psychologist or psychiatrist has arrived. If you have arrived on a higher level in the pyramid yourself, your own personal pyramid of life, you will not find the right guidance of the psychologist who has not arrived already there where you are. He is not able to help you, not even if he is a professor in psychology or psychiatry.

On the top all knowledge has found its ultimate highest and ultimate depths as well. From here those who’s names are attached to this page have spoken about their views and life processes. They integrated their own experiences with the scientific studies, and made it a whole, a total, with real insight and understanding.
