Bernard Lievegoed

Bernardus Cornelis Johannes Lievegoed (2 September 1905, Medan – 12 December 1992, Zeist) was a Dutch medical doctor, psychiatrist and author. He worked with a holistic view on healing, on psychiatry. He was guiding the patient into the patient’s deepest unconsciousness, to search there for the root cause(s) of the mental illness.

Bernard Lievegoed was an anthroposophical psychiatrist. His work is continued in “Lievegoed“. The website is in Dutch.
